Chief Executive Officer, Adani Green Energy Ltd.

AGEL is the largest renewable power producer in India and we are committed to lead adoption of affordable clean energy in the country. Climate change is key concern for the world today and all the countries are focused on energy transition towards renewable and clean sources of energy.

India has a clear vision of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030 as it announced at COP26 and further reaffirmed its vision of Net Zero by 2070 at COP27. At AGEL, we are uniquely positioned to contribute towards this national goal. Our project execution expertise has helped grow our renewable capacities at an industry leading 33% CAGR over the last five years and we are on track towards our renewable energy capacity target of 45 GW by 2030.

To deliver clean energy at an affordable cost, it is essential to deploy innovative renewable energy technologies that enable higher power generation at a lower cost. AGEL has been an early adopter of such innovative renewable technologies and some of our latest plants deploy cutting-edge technologies such as bifacial solar modules and horizontal single-axis tracking (HSAT). We have further enabled our O&M with advanced technology and data analytics through our state-of-the-art Energy Network Operation Center (ENOC) to enable real time monitoring of plants that in turn again results in higher electricity generation and lower cost of maintenance. We are further working towards enhancing the capabilities of ENOC with machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Disciplined capital management and robust governance practices will further continue to be the key pillars of our future growth.
